Bella Misty Meadows Animal Sanctuary is a registered Not For Profit
Corporation dedicated to providing a long-term loving home for abused, abandoned or retired
horses and farm animals. Currently our residents include horses, ponies, a donkey, goats, pot-bellied pigs,
cats, dogs, chickens and ducks.
Together with the support of volunteers and donors, we are able to provide
proper care for these animals either to rehabilitate them or make their retirement years as enjoyable and as
comfortable as possible.
Our mission is not only to create a safe haven for these animals, but also to
increase public awareness of the treatment of animals. Bella
Misty Meadows serves as a resource for Youth Organizations,
Schools and Community Centres and provides education both at the
farm and off-site.
Bella Misty Meadows is also a therapeutic resource for young and
old alike, offering personal development workshops and Equine
and Animal Assisted Learning.
We are located in Norfolk County, Ontario,
Canada and would love to have you visit us. Please note: We are no longer located in Waterloo Region.
